Project Description:
The Upton Community Center is a new facility of 15,132 square feet to house the Upton Town Library and the Council on Aging, at an estimated project cost of $12.4 million.
Located at 9 Milford Street, the facility includes a redesigned playground and shared parking with the adjacent VFW.

Framing

Glulam beams are erected to create the structure and roof line of the building.
Interior and exterior walls are being framed and plywood installed.

Site work for drainage under the playground area continues.
May 31, exterior wall framing and outlines of some interior rooms.
June 15, Glulam beams that create the main circulation spine of the building.
June 15, Roof trusses being installed over the classroom and west side of the building.
