Upton Town Library offers eBooks and eAudiobooks through two apps:
Libby and Hoopla.
Both apps have eBook and eAudio content.
Libby has a wider selection of titles, but items may have waiting lists.
Hoopla has no waiting time, all titles are available immediately, but has a smaller selection of titles.
We recommend you check both apps to find the best option!
Getting Started:

Once you select a book, click borrow; adjust the lending period as desired.
-
Go to your loans page, either through the borrow screen, or using the bookshelf icon at the top of the page.

To read in Browser, the ebook must be available in the Overdrive Read format. Using the left sidebar on a search page, it is possible to limit search results to OverDrive Read.
-
Once you have borrowed an ebook that is available in the OverDrive Read format, you may choose ‘Read Now in Browser’ from the Borrow pop up or when on your Shelf.
Reciprocal Lending Agreement
Your CW MARS library card now works with the eBook and eAudiobook catalogs of several other Massachusetts library networks. Benefits of this include a wider selection of items, including items that CW MARS may not own. There are also potentially shorter waitlists for some items.
If you check out books using Overdrive in your internet browser, you can sign into each of the other five networks:
CLAMS - Cape Libraries Automated Materials Sharing
NOBLE - North of Boston Library Exchange
OCLN - Old Colony Library Network
-
Click the ‘Sign In’ button as you would when signing into the CW MARS Overdrive catalog.
-
Under ‘Choose Location’ select CW MARS Patrons.
-
Type in your CW MARS library card number.
-
Browse the other library network’s catalog as you would the CWMARS catalog.
If you are using Libby, you can set up your CW MARS library card in each of the five other networks, using the instructions found on the Libby, By Overdrive page.
