The Library supports several local book groups, by requesting multiple copies of the monthly selection. If you have a book group, and would like help getting enough copies of your book for your members each month, please let us know. We can help! If you're interested in joining an existing book group, let us know that too, and we can put you in touch with the right people!

The Fic or No Fic Book Group - Active
The Fic or No Fic Book Group meets at 6:45 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month in the Classroom. Book titles are chosen by the members and copies are available at the library. The group alternates between fiction and non-fiction titles.

The Upton Reads Book Group - Active
The Upton Reads Book Group has two sessions; one on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:45 p.m. in the Classroom, and the other on the second Thursday of the month at 6:45 p.m. in the Conference Room. Members can choose to attend the session that best fits their schedule. Library staff leads a casual and thought-provoking discussion of an eclectic mix of contemporary literary fiction. Copies of each month’s book are available at the library. Please call the library directly at 529-6272 to request a copy of this month's title.
