End of Summer Reading Program

The end of the 2022 Summer Reading Program is almost here! Beginning August 9, we will start accepting completed yellow reading logs. Remember, in order to receive a completion prize, kids must have earned at least 5 badges. Our completion prize includes a Read Beyond the Beaten Path plastic mug with paper insert, reading pin, themed pencil, mini trophy, and a mini flashlight. Logs will be accepted until August 31.

Our finale event will take place Saturday August 13 at 11am. Mrs. Murphy will host a Facebook Live to share the highlights of our summer, as well as to announce the winners of our reading raffles. Raffle tickets can be earned until August 12 up until 4pm. Free ice cream will be available that Saturday from 11am to 1pm on the Library Lawn, while supplies last. Ice cream will be coordinated by the Friends of the Upton Town Library and donated by JJ's Ice Cream Shoppe in Upton. Please contact Mrs. Murphy at lmurphy@cwmars.org with any questions.
